I have to say he's certainly got the voice of a Radio 2 presenter. Perhaps a 2nd career?

This is clearly something I'm going to have to have a go with in 2006, I don't think my voice comes over well though - I'll have to stick to silent movies ;-)

We visited Krakow (Poland) at the beginning of December, the city was lovely. The castle and churches were some of the best I've ever seen , of course nothing beats Milan cathedral.

House update:
I plumbed in the kitchen sink last night, so the kitchen will be finished tonight after a few coats of oil on the solid wood work top. Finally! Going to spend this weekend unpacking our stuff and getting ready to move in.

Hopefully going to get the phone and network sockets wired over the next few weeks, might get a cheap patch panel on ebay.

We also bought a second hand Apple Powerbook G4 for Christmas, this is my first Mac - it's tiny with 12in screen. Of course perfectly constructed and very light. Just right for surfing and skype. I'll blog a bit more about it once I get wireless going. I wonder if my spare PCMCIA wireless card will work with a Mac?

Megan was complaining today that people couldn't get emails to her, for her domain brodzinska.com I use MyDomain.com as a Name Service - DNS management and email fowarding etc...

MyDomain.com are great I have used them for the best part of 5 years (for sar.cx and other domains), but from time to time, usually 2 times per year they hit problems with email forwarding - that's not bad for a free service.

I'm okay because I run my own mail server for sar.cx, but it would appear that MyDomain.com's email forward is refusing to forard to GMail accounts which is what we use to recieve/store our email.

At least I have the facility of changing the DNS settings so that brodzinska.com uses my mail server at home. But this could take a while to come through.

I 'made' it into the company Bulletin in the staff 'Focus On' section where you have to answer things like "If I was an animal I would be?" - here it is....
